Our Mission
At Seymour Good, we spread the joy and spirit of Christmas to families in need throughout New York through delivering unexpected gifts of toys, warm clothing, and food on Christmas Eve, anonymously.
Every holiday season, Seymour Good selects families across New York and learns about each child’s hopes and wishes. With your support, we make the magic of Christmas a reality for families in need.

About Us
Seymour Good began in 1983 as a small group of friends, each donating $25 to help surprise one family in need during the holidays. What started as a simple act of kindness has grown into a community-wide effort.
In 2024, we raised $29,209 to bring Christmas joy to 92 children across New York and created moments of comfort and happiness that will be remembered long after the holidays.
After monetary donations are collected, a growing number of families and friends volunteer their time to be Santa’s helpers in the shopping, wrapping, and delivery of the toys, clothing, and food for families in need.
We also shared diapers, wipes, and pajamas with local single mother and baby residences, extending the spirit of giving even further.
Though Seymour Good has grown over the years, we remain true to the same heartfelt mission that inspired a small group of friends in 1983: spreading kindness and Christmas joy to families in need, anonymously.
